Living Room Sneak Peek | Our New Sofa

Decorating our home has been one of the most fun and rewarding projects I've worked on this year. We have slowly been switching out some old furniture with new pieces that we truly love and work well in an apartment - a process that takes time, but is completely worth it.

I was on the hunt for the perfect sofa for our space for quite some time. I wanted something simple but stylish, good for a small space, and that was affordable. I stumbled across this sofa from Bryght and fell in love right away.

I really liked the shade of grey, and thought that it would really balance out the other pieces we have and match our colour scheme. I also loved the walnut legs - such a great detail!

A few things I loved about Bryght:
- Everything is online which means they can offer reasonable prices without sacrificing quality and style.
- Their head office is in Vancouver which was a huge bonus, as it made shipping really simple.
- The "no questions asked" return policy was also really helpful in case for some reason we weren't happy with it.
- Shipping is a flat rate of $49 regardless of size.

The delivery process was really smooth: two guys showed up on our doorstep, unpacked everything and set it all up for me, they even took away the packaging which was amazing.

I love how it looks and feels in our space - I think the classic mid-century style really works for our home. This sofa is called Anton in Gravel Grey and Honey Walnut - but their whole collection is lovely - you should take a peek :).

Behind The Scenes with Structube

Yesterday I worked on a really fun project with Stuctube, a furniture company based out of Montreal. They filmed me in a few of my favourite spots around our neighbourhood, as well as in our home. It was the perfect fall Vancouver day, and I was thrilled to be able to show off our little spot in the city that we love so much.

I wanted to highlight some of my favourite things about where we live - which included the amazing Celsia flower shop. They made the most incredible arrangement for our table, and I couldn't stop staring at it and taking pictures! I wish there were more occasions to have pieces like this in our home, it is just so beautiful!

Here are a few snaps of the table I set up for the shoot. More sneak peeks to come!
